Education
Qualified staff are the prerequisite for any company’s success. That is why educational activities are amongst ArcelorMittal Ostrava’s top priorities. Each employee is given the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills. As the Company is a part of the largest steel Group, it is able to offer numerous interesting study visits, educational projects, and a variety of training both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Special programmes are also organized for students and graduates. We have been collaborating with the local university on a long-term basis. We seek to attract and bring to our ranks the most talented graduates.
ArcelorMittal Ostrava’s educational activities are accompanied by the new ArcelorMittal University programmes. More than CZK 15 million is invested in staff education every year. The Company educational programmes include e.g. language and re-training courses.
